1. Alan settlement
The Alan settlement occupies almost 100 hectares of Arkhyz land. Presumably, it was here that the disappeared city of Magas, mentioned in the Byzantine chronicles, was located.2.Sofia Waterfalls
Sofia waterfalls are a cascade of nine powerful water streams. They are rightfully considered the most beautiful not only in Karachay-Cherkessia, but also in the whole Caucasus.
3.Lake of Love
Lake of Love, or Suuk-Jurek-Kel, which means "cold heart"-a natural reservoir of a unique shape, resembling a heart.
4.Barite Waterfall
Baritovy Waterfall is a 2-hour walk from the village of Arkhyz. The path to the waterfall runs along a picturesque baritov beam, which begins immediately behind the village and steeply "goes" up behind a small clearing.
5.Teberdinsky Nature Reserve
Teberdinsky Nature Reserve is the pearl of the Caucasus. Here you can not only enjoy the stunning flora and mountain scenery, but also see rare animals.
6.Sofia Lakes
Sofia Lakes is a popular tourist destination of Arkhyz. The route to it can be difficult and even impossible in winter. However, in the summer-autumn period, excursions are often organized there.
7. Dukkin Lakes
Dukka lakes include Lake Rybka, Fairy Tale of the Caucasus and Arkasarskoye and are the most beautiful place. In summer, everything around the lakes is overgrown with dense greenery, and in autumn the water begins to freeze, so the visiting season is from early June to mid–October.
8.Marukhskoe Gorge
A place that fascinates with its beauty at any time of the year! Its length is 65 km. Here you can see picturesque slopes, fast mountain rivers, impenetrable forests and glaciers.
9. Seven-colored Lake
Semitsvetnoe Lake is located at the source of the Bolshaya Dukka River at an altitude of 2450 m above sea level, 26 km from the village of Arkhyz, 16 km from the village of Romantic and 11 km from the paved road.
